Jenkins Slate Masters, Incorporated is a Slate and Copper Roof Contracting and Consulting company that focuses solely on Slate and Copper roofs, nothing else. Our family passion for the trade began back in 1968 and has progressively grown into one of the most respected companies in the industry. With a strong background in repair and restoration, Jenkins Slate Masters, Inc. has slowly shifted it’s focus toward custom homes with artistic details. While we are stationed in Western Pa and prefer to work in that general area, we will travel almost anywhere in the world given the right opportunity.

Enthralling to watch and the result is stunning.”
This is a pleated, copper eyebrow dormer. Each panel from drip edge to drip edge is one piece of copper folded like an accordion. The valley (both sides) is made from one piece of copper. This is the most traditional method for installing radius copper details.

About The Owner
Orion J. Jenkins
Orion started his endeavors in the slate roofing industry at a young age, touring slate quarries around the world with his father, Joseph C. Jenkins, author of the world renowned book, “The Slate Roof Bible”. Orion has attended many Slate Roofing World Championships and participated and presented at both the Slate Roofing Contractors Association and National Slate Association conferences. He’s a Board Member of the Slate Roofing Contractors Association (SRCA), he’s on the Education Committee for the SRCA and a dedicated member of the National Slate Association. Orion has decades of experience working with slate and copper, as well as an artistic hand. Always striving for perfection, Orion and crew offer a personable, professional, custom and dedicated service for every client and structure.
